We are well known as Edinburgh’s favourite spot to watch the Cheltenham Races and draw a big crowd every year to cheer on their favourite horse. We’re even SLTN’s Best Venue to Watch the Match 2025, so there’s no better place to watch horse racing than right here.

This year’s horse races take place from 16th – 19th March.
Tuesday 16th March – Day 1 – Champion Day
Wednesday 17th March – Day 2 – Ladies Day
Thursday 18th March – Day 3 – St Patrick’s Thursday
Friday 19th March – Day 4 – Gold Cup Day
We will be showing all of the races from Cheltenham Festival at our central location near Haymarket: Malones Edinburgh, 242 Morrison Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8DT.

On the other side of town Malones Leith is also a great option. They are situated on The Shore Tram Stop and serve a great range of pub grub including their iconic spice bag.
