We’re chuffed to bits (and only a little smug) to announce that Malones Edinburgh is the only Edinburgh venue to feature in Guinness’ Harp Guide 2026. That means Guinness themselves reckon our pints are worth travelling for!
Not a fan of the black stuff? We’re also one of the only venues in Edinburgh to have Tank Tennent’s. That means our T has a crisp freshness that’s only matched by a pint poured in a brewery.
We also have a great selection of wine, spirits and Irish whiskey for you to enjoy. There’s something for everyone, making us the perfect spot for work drinks, gig pre-drinks or post-match celebrations. Sláinte!

Yes, check out our bookings page to reserve a table. Please note that during busy days, such as cup finals, we may only accept walk-ins or require ticket bookings.
Very much so! Whether you're bringing your four-legged friend for sport, live music, or just a catch-up with their poodle pal, all dogs are welcome here.
Yes, under-18s are welcome daily until 8pm.
Our upstairs floor can be hired as a private function room for bookings of between 100 & 250 people.
If you're booking for less than 100 people, we can give you a large space in our venue perfect for your event.
Malones Edinburgh is an iconic Irish pub near Haymarket. We have a bouncing atmosphere, show all of the major sports (we won SLTN's Best Venue to Watch the Match 2025!), and are the only venue in Edinburgh to feature on Guinness' Harp Guide 2026.
On the other side of town, Malones Leith is also a great option. They're easy to get to thanks to their location on The Shore Tram Stop, and have a kitchen serving up iconic Spice Bags and classic Irish food such as Chicken Fillet Rolls.
